I’m quite a new patient at Shrubbery and I have had excellent treatment from Phillipaand Jamie cleaning my teeth ‘til they sparkle. What a pleasure those two are.Ishmir the handsome dentist, always helps, again such a pleasure.I have come back from the USA after 45 years and they are comparable to the dentists and Hygienist over there. This is an excellent practice.

I had a hygienist appointment with Jamie. He offered explanations for what he was doing readily throughout the appointment and provided helpful education. He made me feel comfortable and I felt he was a competent practitioner. I would recommend him to other patients.

I have always had the same dentist for years & years, so when she retired I was really nervous all over again!! Today I went in for a filling, I’m terrified of needles & was so worried but I really didn’t need to be, Dr Shivani & her nurse Sadie were absolutely amazing, from the minute I walked in they put me at ease & were so friendly & kind, filling done with no issues at all. I now feel back to being more relaxed & will no longer worry again!! Highly recommend 5*****

If you want to laugh your way through your appointment, then Jamie and Nessa are the dynamic dental cleaning duo for you. Dr Uppal who I’ve also seen now for years now is a brilliant dentist who has always made me feel completely at ease even when having uncomfortable work done. He also happens to have great playlists which are a sanity savour from some of the unfortunate dentist lift music I’ve encountered over the years. Reception also cannot be forgotten, unlike most they are always pleased to see you and greet you with a smile.I never thought I’d describe a hygienist appointment as fun, but here we are. The dynamic due were both delightfully friendly and made me laugh more times than I can count. Jamie even offered to put cartoons on instead of my X-rays, which genuinely made me laugh (NB: I am very much an adult). They just made the whole thing feel relaxed rather than clinical. The best bit was the interdental brush demo, properly shown, no judgement, and actually useful. I even got a snazzy new interdental to take home, and left feeling like I’ve finally got my dental routine nailed.I would definitely recommend the practice and all those named if you want specialists who knows their stuff, doesn’t make you feel told off, and actually make it a positive experience. I imagine Jamie and Nessa would be brilliant for nervous patients or those who might usually find a hygienist visit challenging.

Dr Uppal did a fantastic job of adding composite bonding to close up the gap on my front teeth. It surpassed my expectations and I’m extremely happy with the results. In & out in 45 minutes. No injections or pain at all. I highly recommend this practice, extremely professional from start to finish.

Having avoided going to the dentist my whole life, at 40 years of age I had a broken tooth which an NHS practice recommended needed an extraction. Having seen Dr Ish for a second opinion and explained I suffer with severe anxiety he took the time to understand my fears. He was gentle, supportive and genuine. Both Dr Ish and nurse Sadie are truly compassionate sensitive people who were able to support me through completing my first dental procedure. I could not recommend them enough to patients with dental anxiety to build confidence. A massive thanks to you both.

Have had the most exceptional care at Shrubbery! After having quite traumatic dental experience elsewhere I was very nervous but Jess and the team completely put me at ease and i am now confident in the chair. I have had cosmetic dental treatment which has given me so much more confidence and i am now happy to smile with my mouth open for photos😁😁😁 thankyou so much. Everyone from the receptionists to the dentists are so friendly, welcoming and caring! Xxx

Absolutely First Class. After many years of mediocre reactive care elsewhere I found myself needing a full reassessment and range of treatment to bring my dental heath back to where it should be. The entrance and waiting room have a very warm, homely, family feel and the reception team are incredibly friendly and helpful. The initial appointment was undertaken with a level of care and attention to detail that I cannot remember receiving from another healthcare professional in my life. The follow up dental work which involved replacing some silver fillings is an unbelievable transformation and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank You!

I am so glad I joined Shrubbery Dental Practise. I have completely overcome my ' fear of dentists ' after years of not wanting to visit one in fear of repeated bad experiences. They are all so welcoming, kind and make you feel completely relaxed. I recently braved a cap renewal but it was actually a really positive experience and the results were fabulous. Dr Ish is a patience, knowledgeable and gentle dentist who I would recommend 100%. They are an outstanding practise with excellent service and customer care and I am very grateful to them for their kindness and support.

I'm so glad I've chosen to join Shrubbery Dental Practice. I was a little nervous and embarrassed having not been to the dentist for quite a long time, but Shivani and Hollie took really good care of me. They are so friendly and easy to talk to, there was no judgement and the treatment options were explained fully with no pressure.Kate and Claire on the front desk were wonderful too and made the joining process super easy. Despite needing work on a tooth on my next visit, I'm actually looking forward to going back in!

Would give it 5 starts because the dentist there did great job checking my teeth BUT when I asked for my xray pictures (getting them fast is critical for me) I was told "manager is on holiday so you need to wait". Amazing, right? The other dentist is waiting for my xray results to book me in but now I have to delay because only manager at Shrubbery can send e-mail with pictures... What a joke. When I was paying for the consultation nobody told me that sending e-mail is such a problem...

I doubt anyone finds going to the dentist a pleasure, but Shrubbery DP comes mightily close to making it so. The practice is professional, friendly and welcoming, making me feel valued as a person, not just a customer. My dentist is Dr. Ish and he's great. Of course he's a good practitioner, but he also has great 'soft skills' with an excellent 'chair side' manner that puts you at ease. From the initial assessment of work required through to having the actual treatment, Dr. Ish explains things clearly, including the costs, so that you are able to decide what you want to include in your treatment plan. There's no hard sell. My recommended treatments were very much as I'd expected - four fillings and two extractions required, all of which were carried out completely pain free, which I was amazed by, but that's down to the skill of Dr. Ish and the care he takes.

This review is dedicated to my dentist Lucy who performed some amazing magic and gave me back my smile. When I first consulted with Lucy, I had lost my 35-yr old bridge, which left a side gap and my front teeth had been pushed forward causing crooked and gapped front teeth, meaning I did not smile often. Lucy approached the restorative work gradually, first replacing my bridge, then designed and fitted caps to go on crooked stumps but look straight. My smile is amazing and I cannot believe how much of my self-confidence has been restored. Thank you, Lucy for having such creative vision and precision execution. Thank you to the rest of the family at Shrubbery Dental Practice who supported me during my transformative journey.

Recently joined Shrubbery Dental practice and completed a course of treatment. I must say that for the first time in recent years I felt valued as a patient and was always received with courtesy and friendliness by all the staff at the practice. My treatment was planned thoughtfully and professionally carried out with no rush and everything explained patiently to me. I felt comfortable and welcomed by the management and the professional dental treatment I received was excellent .I would recommend Shrubbery Dental Practice without reservation.Thankyou All

I cannot recommend the Shrubbery Dental Practice highly enough. As a very nervous patient, I was incredibly anxious about my treatment, but Dr. Ish was outstanding—supportive, reassuring, and exceptionally skilled. He took the time to explain everything clearly, putting me completely at ease and ensuring the experience was relaxed, comfortable, and pain-free. His expertise and compassionate approach truly made all the difference. The dental nurses were equally amazing—kind, attentive, and always ready with a warm smile. Every staff member was welcoming, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Their commitment to excellent care and patient well-being is truly exceptional. For anyone feeling nervous about visiting the dentist, this is the place to go. The entire team goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service, and I am so grateful for their kindness and support

If you are reading these reviews to help decide if Shrubbery Dental Practice is for you, then please consider your search complete! I cannot recommend this practice enough. After having some awful experiences in the past with my teeth, I was a very nervous and anxious patient. I was terrified of anything happening with my teeth but I knew I needed help. Dentist Ish has been a absolute hero helping me relax and feel comfortable during appointments. I cannot believe that I managed to get to the point where I was able to have two extractions done with him in one visit without a panic attack which happened many times before. This is all because of this brilliant practice and their fantastic staff. I honestly cannot recommend them enough if you are a nervous patient like I once was.The fact I can say that I no longer have the huge level of dentist anxiety that I did is a miracle, I never thought this would happen - thank you so much for looking after me so well Shrubbery!

Can’t fault the service, Friendly and proffessional staff. However I cancelled over a year ago as I moved away. I stopped receiving all emails for appointment reminders but I was still being charged. I contacted them and after several phone calls and emails they were unable to offer any refund despite me not using the service and the fact I stopped receiving emails… if I had continued to receive emails I would’ve realised a lot sooner

I’m getting married in November, and last summer I spent some time researching different dentists on Google as I was interested in Invisalign and Composite Bonding.I came across Shrubbery Dental Practice and I’m so pleased I decided to go with them, it’s been a really smooth and positive experience from the start to finish. Dr Ish is very reassuring, calm and helpful and has helped me have the smile I’ve always wanted. I’ve had regular check ups throughout my treatment and there’s a really friendly atmosphere across the whole practice.I can’t stop smiling now, my confidence has improved and I’ll be recommending the practice to everyone! A really BIG thank you 🤩

I’ve been with this practice for over 20 years and can’t recommend highly enough.I am under the care of Dr Ishi who is amazing, really patient always taking his time to explain everything fully ensuring complete confidence in him and his team.He has just completed composite bonding on my upper six front teeth and I’m so thrilled with the results. He took me carefully through the procedure from start to finish and I can now smile with complete confidence. Sincere thanks to you Ishi and everyone.

I transferred to Shrubbery Dental Practice some years ago after becoming unhappy with the service I was receiving at my local NHS dentist and I am so glad that I made the switch as I couldn’t be happier with the service I receive now. I have complete trust in Dr Ish, and all the staff there are just so friendly. The hygienist is unbelievably gentle as well, and really takes time over your teeth for a thorough clean, but also makes sure you’re comfortable too.I went through Invisalign treatment with Dr Ish not long ago and the treatment I received was brilliant. Ish was thorough and attentive throughout the whole process. My sister is currently going through Invisalign treatment (following my rave reviews) at her local practice, but unfortunately isn’t receiving the same level of treatment that I received at Shrubbery. She has progress check-up’s every 3 months rather than monthly as I did, and has so many unanswered questions that just wasn’t the case with me. I am so happy with the results. I smile more freely, and am no longer self conscious of my teeth on Zoom calls, or in photos. Even after almost a year on with my new smile, I get surprised that I love what I see now - it’s made such a difference.I genuinely can’t recommend Shrubbery Dental Practice more highly!

I have recently returned to Shrubbery Dental practice and have undergone some rather extensive dental work with Dr. Ish and the wider team at the Practice and I wanted to share my experience.Having discussed various tailored treatment plans with me back in August 2024, I have undergone 4 months of appointments which included cosmetic dental treatments as well as a teeth whitening course.from my initial consultation stage to completion their continued support and encouragement have been excellent when delivering patient care. With regular feedback at every stage during my appointments, the staff regularly highlighted what steps were to be undertaken and what future work would be required to achieve a better smile.During these visits, my anxiety was lowered, and my confidence was raised significantly, which was once lacking. I cannot thank the team enough for taking my fear of dentistry and instilling trust in me, which has made the whole process comfortable.I would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank you so very much” to all at the practice, and now I can look forward to a new chapter in my life with a smile and lots more self-confidence.Mr Belshaw

I am a very anxious patient and having left it several years since my last dentist appt I was expecting the worst, but honestly I was so reassured by all the staff. From the welcoming receptionists to the dentist and trainee dental nurse. I saw Jack the dentist and he took the time to really thoroughly check my teeth and mouth health, took x-rays and pictures and explained everything really patiently and kindly as he knew I was nervous. Both he and the trainee dental nurse (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name!) were chatting to me and joking with me to take my mind off being anxious and it was lovely. So different to any dentist appt I've had previously elsewhere. I would thoroughly recommend, especially if you're a nervous patient like me!

Start to finish - fantastic. From our initial enquiry as a family to our first assessment the service and communication was second to none.I also, wrongly, assumed private dental to be prohibitively expensive but I was very much mistaken. You can tell it is a great place as, without exception, the team walk around smiling. Our daughter, 3, is SEN so needed a little extra consideration - Dr Uppal was phenomenal with her (and absolute star with kids). It then transpires they do not charge for her check-ups till she is 4. Blown away.My son, 5, was super nervous as his first trip. They settled him and he was good as gold.Parking is a doddle and the facilities are brilliant.I wholly recommend these guys. A slick operation.

I would like to say a massive thankyou to DR Ish, Abbey, Steph and all at Shrubbery Dental Practice. You have literally changed my life! It’s been 20 years plus since I’ve seen a dentist as I have had a particularly horrible phobia since I was a young adult. So much so it stopped me from going to see a dentist. It’s something I didn’t want my kids to follow on with so built up the courage to make a call to Katie who has guided me and hand held me through every step of the way! The team made sure I was not kept waiting on arrival, ensured I had the same team every time I visited and that I was in the same room so I could have continuity . My first visit was the biggest challenge for me as that was the first time I had stepped in a dental practice in 23 years, Claire’s big smile on reception was very much appreciated as i opened the door and Katie was there to greet me, every one made sure everything was explained before each step and ensured me this is how every visit would go! Steph held my hand through most visits and continually checked in on me, she even made sure she was the nurse on duty for when I saw Abbey too! For reference I’m 6 ft and of big build and even I needed a hand held! It brings me close to tears just writing this as they will never understand what they have done for me! My treatment is complete thanks to Abbey and Ish and I’m set for 6 months! I can’t believe I’m going to say this, I’m already looking forward to seeing them all, can’t wait to hear about Claire’s holiday! They all feel like new friends. If you are like me and have not been in years DR Ish is your man!! Thanks again Team Shrubbery you really are kind individuals!

Brilliant through and through.I have been with the Shrubbery since Feb/March 2020 and my care has always been exemplary.I am under a monthly plan whereby I have 2 x dental checks and 2 x hygiene visits per year included. My dental checks have been with Mahul and Dr Rish - they have always been very helpful and informative when I've seen them.I have always had my hygiene visits with Jamie & Holly - they are the best team. I am immediately put at ease and there's always laughter during the appointments.Jamie has really helped with the care of my teeth - he always explains everything he is going to do and gives a recap at the end. I never leave without advice / suggestions to help with any issues I need help with.I would highly recommend the practice- every member of staff is welcoming, warm and friendly; nothing is ever too much of an ask.I would also recommend the monthly plans - investing in myself and my teeth was the best thing I ever did.Thank you 😊

Thank you to shrubbery dental practise. Ishmir Singh Uppal really helped me conquer my fear of dentists. I have had my check up, I have been to the lovely hygienist, and had two fillings. It may not sound like a big deal, but to me it was. Ish talked me through what he was going to do, helped me understand, just how my mouth and I would feel, as the injection began to work. Explained how things would feel after the treatment. Slowly reassuring me, but making me feel calm, normal and not stupid for being such a baby about it all.Having confidence in the person who cares about looking after you as a patient is all you can ask for.It takes a certain person to be able to do this. So thank you Ish , thank you to the nurses , thank you to most important reception team and to Katie, for helping me open the door.

I have been a patient at Shrubbery Dental Practice for over 20 years and have always enjoyed their excellent care and treatment. In March I had a crown replaced by Dr Anam and Dental Nurse Lucy - they were both excellent! Not only was the procedure painless and perfect, but the way they work together made for excellent dental care and (dare I say) an enjoyable experience! This week I saw Hygienist Jamie and Holly and again enjoyed excellent care. They are particularly gentle in the mouth and again their interaction with each other is calming and enjoyable.I would not hesitate to recommend all of them, or this practice and as always the reception staff Claire & Kate move mountains to get my appointments together.Always excellent! 👍

Saw Dr Ish for the first time last week. Really nice guy, approachable and gave good advice on my new retainers. Big thanks to Claire and Kate for always fitting me in with my limited availability.

I needed a new crown on one of my front teeth which my dentist was reluctant to do, so aprehensively I looked for a new dentist. I went with the great google reviews and chose Shrubbery. My dentist Ish was very confident and reassuring and I was looked after really well by all the staff. 3 weeks later I have a new crown which I am very pleased with and I am so pleased I chose to go here. I would recommend anybody to go to Shrubbery Dental Practice.

I went to Shrubbery based on their reviews, as I wanted to find a friendly and understanding surgery because like a lot of reviewers have said, It can be quite nerve-wracking if it's been some time since your last visit to a dentist.I finally did book an appointment and on both visits Shrubbery's people have been friendly and made me feel welcome as a patient, and just having a dentist after so long gives great peace of mind.

I am a 6ft and 16 stone bag of nerves at the dentist and I've always needed a great relationship with my dentists to even get me through the door ! Today I went to Shrubbery Dental Practise and as soon as I walked in I felt relaxed. I saw Jamie the hygienist today and he explained everything perfectly!I felt good today after my visit and am almost looking forward to next time! I would have no hesitation in recommending Shrubbery to any nervous patients.

5 stars is not enough!! I honestly cannot praise all the staff at shrubbery dental practice enough! The best team ever! They are the best neighbours to live next door too and also the most talented dentists! Claire on reception is the most friendliest lady so welcoming and always makes me feel relaxed! Dr Mehul made me feel at ease when having my extraction done and Hayley made me feel so calm as she was aware how much I didn’t want it done! I do not like going to the dentist but I love going to see everyone at the surgery! Keep up the amazing work everyone… look forward to seeing you all on my next appointment! Lots of love Alice from next door

I have been a client of this Dentist Practice for many years. I have always been pleased with their professionalism, especially today with a Wisdom tooth extraction. I am glad to say, it was not as painful as I thought it would be! The Practice is spotless and all the staff are very friendly.

I started my Invisalign journey back in May with Mehul and Hayley, who I highly recommend! Reception staff were also really welcoming and friendly. It has been a great experience and they were fantastic and helpful from start to finish. I am over the moon with the final result, and can't thank them enough.

I have used this practice for almost 20 years and everything about the service is exceptional. I recently had a crown fitted by Anam. Once again the level of care and expertise I received was outstanding and the end result is perfect . I would recommend Anam and this team to everyone .

I cannot recommend Dr Ish and his assistant highly enough. They were patient and calm and carried out my treatment in a gentle and caring way even though I am not the easiest of patients! They also cared about how I was feeling and checked I was ok throughout the process. I am so grateful to them both for their kindness and excellent work.

Over the past six months I have been with Mehul and Hayley doing Invisalign. It has been a great experience and I would highly recommend. Mehul and Hayley are true professionals and the final look is even better than what i could have ever imagined! I also had composite bonding on the front four teeth to close a small gap which again was done to a high standard. They were fantastic at guiding me through the whole process and really looked after me. Both of them are a real credit to the Shrubbery team!

I can't fault Shrubbery Dental Practice. Throughout my life I've had a fear of the dentist but the Shrubbery team completely changed that with their warm caring attitude and experience. They are always at the end of the phone to offer advice and provide top quality care. Hayley & Mehul make a great dream team and I couldn't be happier with the work they have done for me (both general dental procedures and Invisalign). All the team as a whole make you feel right and home and really welcomed every time. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Do not recommendHad wrong diagnostic with 3 teeth to be removed and " recommended " implantsChecked with other clinic and " only " 2 teeth were needed to be removed means - no need for implants.....Conclusion you can make by yourself

Always a fantastic experience at this Dental Practice; the staff are friendly, helpful and professional and the service received is perfect. In addition to being a full member, I have also completed an Invisalign treatment with the practice. The results of the Invisalign are fantastic, and the support and treatment from Tom along the way has been unbeatable. Being able to schedule appointments whenever necessary, email questions along the way and have informal discussions with Tom has helped me feel at complete ease with the process.I absolutely recommend signing up to the practice and will be using them as long as i'm in the County!

I am usually an incredibly nervous patient when it comes to the dentist, so I had avoided it for the last few years. I recently moved back to Worcester and knew I needed to see a dentist. I found Shrubbery Dental Practice and I can honestly say it is the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. The staff are wonderful and friendly, Jess was my dentist as is an absolute delight. I could not ask for a better practice. Thank you so much for setting my mind at ease, making me relaxed and helping me overcome my fear of visiting the dentist, my experience has truly changed my outlook and I am now looking forward to my next visit. I am truly grateful, thank you so much.

I have been a patient at Shrubbery Dental Practice all my life and I'm 61 now! I have always had excellent care, my first dentist was Geoffrey Clarke! It's wonderful to see how this Practice has developed over the years. I am very impressed with Jess, she makes coming to the dentist a pleasurable experience! The combination of first class hygienist and first class dentist is definitely a winning one!

I've been seeing Kate Pugh for a few years now. I had a dental phobia since childhood but now I feel so comfortable coming in for treatment. Kate is so kind and professional and inspires confidence. All staff are so friendly and make you at ease. And it's a great treat having hygienist appointment with Carol. The appointments are always seamlessly back-to-back and I'm seen on time. I really appreciate the courtesy call 2 days before my appointment too, just in case you forget over 6 months. Thanks ladies.
